“Banana Pancakes”は、私のお気に入りの曲です。
曲調からすると、歌詞の内容はこんな雰囲気でしょうか。

「今日は雨だし、週末みたいにゆっくり寝てようよ、僕がバナナパンケーキをつくるからさ」といったゆるい雰囲気の歌詞がたまりません。

さて、バナナパンケーキという響きにつられて、 本物のバナナパンケーキを探してみました。

・くるみの入った、バナナくるみパンケーキも美味しそうです。

クックパッドで検索をすると「バナナのパンケーキ」はたくさん出てきますが、同じ材料を使っていても写真映りで印象は全く違いますね。
料理は見た目も肝心ということでしょうか。

ケーキというと、大層なオーブンがなければつくれないという勝手なイメージがありましたが、パンケーキやホットケーキならフライパンで気軽にできるのが良いですね。

平日でも、仕事を忘れてのんびり朝寝坊、おもむろに起き出してつくる昼食兼朝食。
出来上がったバナナパンケーキを食べながら、Jack Johnsonをまったり聴いて過ごす。
締め切りに追われて大変な日に考える妄想です……。
